ok i need to clear 2 things up so it doesnt cost me heaps trying to fix one when its the other.
Is there a difference between a 6cyl thrust bearing and an 8cyl one? as in would one be longer than the other?
and is there a difference between a clutch kit for a hj 253 and vh commodore 253?
right now i've got the right bellhousing and right clutch fork but still i adjust the clutch cable as much as it will go and the pressure plate isnt pushed on hard enough by the thrust bearing.
So either i need a longer thrust bearing to reach the pressure plate easier or a different clutch kit to meet my current thrust bearing?
does that all make sense? im supposed to be driving from sydney to newcastle tommorow night and i dont think that will be happening...

is the clutch fork pivot adjusted correctly??
ok so you can adjust the pivot, that would be a help wouldnt it i could just raise the pivot so the fork is closer to begin with... your on to something there good sir!
i assume the pivot is like a bolt into the bellhousing and twisting it counter clock wise or putting a washer underneath it adjusts it?
