hey guys i have recently decided to sell my 2001 vx s pac and come back to where i started in the vks now i am in the process of sourcing a vk shell for an engine transplant. my dilema is comapared to the vn conversion that i can find heaps of info on and have read all i can possible handle (feel i could do the conversion with eyes closed). is it any different doing the conversion with a vs. can i use the front end is it a simple bolt out bolt in like the vn. also in respect to the wiring is it best i just go for a v6 conversion kit or something like that or is it possible to complete my self with a wiring diagram. the plan is to supercharge the vs motor with a crs mini blower kit for a bit of added fun. what you guys reckon i have some big plans for this car and alot of time and a fair bit of coin to drop on it. while im hear what you guys reckon about the vk painted in the VE green.
Cheers Boys

the VR/VS have a wider wheel track that could cause some issues. also from VR onward all commodores were fitted with BCM that controls the security as well as other stuff. so to do the ecotec conversion you will need to get a memcal with the VATS deleted (security stuff) otherwise it will crank but won't run. Dr bob would be the best person to speak to
