Question VK - Mounting Fog/Driving Lights?

Can anyone suggest a legal way of mounting Fog/Driving lights to a VK?

I contacted Hella and they recommend using some sort of light bar across the front but I'm buggered if I can find something to suit a VK.

I was thinking of cutting something into the bumper and mounting lights but would probally look like crap, be hard to access and adjust.

    Anyone got any info/pics?

Thanks Tom, that is where I thought as well but the SA law states that no forward facing lamps can be less than 250mm height from the road. Here in SA this is an immediate defect of the vehicle in that position.

The only possibility I have seen so far is an Aunger light bar, this bar looks like it will fit, it mounts behind the number plate area (needs spacers on each side as the bar is straight and the number plate area on the bumper is bent). I spoke to Aunger and apparently there was a fitting kit available years ago but is no longer available.

Hmm i hope vics not like that, caus I aint putting a bar on. The point of fog lights to get under the fog, so not allowing them to low is stupid in my opinion.
If your going to put a bar, you may aswell buy some light force lights (yes they are very expensive but very very good), caus the bar will make it look **** anyway inmy opinion.
Have you measured from the bottom of the car to their, it may just be more then 25cm.

Once I have lowered the car I calculate that the lights (at midpoint of the lamp) will be 230mm from the road. I might risk it. Do you have any recommendations for fog light brand?

I would be risking it, if you get caught put your normal springs and fight it lol.

Im using HELLA because i have seen them in action and bloody good and easy wiring, and not to badly priced, and they look pretty neat and not bulky. If money wasnt a problem and i didnt care what my car looked like i would be using LightForce, purely because we have a lightforce spot light (hand held) and **** me is it bright like you couldnt believe, and very light in weight and good on batterys, but for 600 bux that kind of explains it lol.
