hey all.
i know this question has probable been asked a million times before, i tried searching the site for the answer to my question but failed so i figured id ask someone in here, iv got a 1985 EFI vk ive got a VP V6 and am about to throw it in the VK but am stuck, im not sure if i should buy the wiring transfer kit from V6 conversion for $375 or if i even need it, ive got a complete VP and cmplete VK, ive just gotta swap the engine looms over and then hook up all the VK's ignition wires to the vp loom for the ecu and starter right ??? if anyone can shed sum light my way bout this i would greatly appreciate any help.
thankyou
Patrick
Yes you can use the VP loom, BUT its a big hassle, it will require soldering and alot of work, not to mention you will need good auto-electrics knowledge. It would be easier and less pain steaking to just buy the V6 conversion loom, not to mention the time you will save, and have support from V6 conversions along the way.

no worrys thanks for the tip, i guess i should jus spend the extra $$$ and save time and frustration, is the kit hard to put in or pretty straight forward
