I have a vh 6cyl auto and it has lots of trouble getting into top gear. From cold it gets there but at a pretty high speed but when she warms up it doesnt make it and stays in second.
I have checked the modulator and vacuum fittings..no joy.
Kickdown solenoid?....I remember reading somewhere about a gasket somewhere around the solenoid leaking inside the box and causing this problem...anyone else had the same problem?
