Choosing a new carpet colour.

Hi all,
Im looking to purchase some new carpet for my VC. It has the cream coloured interior and im not sure what colour to get, im looking on Knox Auto Carpets Knox Auto Carpets - Manufacturer and supplier of moulded car carpets

Im thinking of going with buckskin loop but any other opinions would be appreciated.

My advice would be to go super plush pile, its like what the statesman use, also while your ripping carpet out make sure you get a good sound deadener, to help take out road noise. Not sure on colours ill leave that to the more feminine men :P
Other advice is stay away from Tru Fit carpets, their apparently poor quality aswell as poor fitting.
Try and go two piece as they are easier to install. Also try Stuart Brown, hes on Ebay, but if you cant find him their let me know as i have his details around here somewhere, but he is normally cheaper then knox and is suppose to be just as good in quality.

Buckskin is the interior in your car now. If it was me, i would be going for that Bark Plush. Thats if you don't wan't your interior 100% original.

Tom_1569, the Statesman, SL/Es and Calais never had Super Plush pile, they only had a special blended plush pile carpet.

hey mate . i had a vc with the buckskin interior.sorta the cream colour as u said.i got some black plush pile. i found the black contrasted well against the buckskin and sorta took away sum of the plain less ness (if thats even a word) of the interior .i rekon the plush pile lasts better then the super plush. the super plush pile seems to wear quite quickly and trap s dirt.

Heres sum pic's of what i did with my interior. black carpet. black pinchweld (around doors) black center console with vinyl removed.chrome striping around gear selector. the sunvisors were allso black. i did it on the cheap but it turned out pretty good. mite just be handy to give you some idea's . good luck with yours mate

Ok thanks for that guys, the black does look good. Im thinking of going with a dark brown colour/ bark, to take away some of the brightness of the cream interior.
