Hey all, when removing my steering wheel it was on too tight and i ended up collapsing my steering columnive got a replacement for it but i just cant work out how the linkage comes off the steering rack at the bottom? :S
Any help appreciated
What fun is having a licence and following ALL the rules?
To remove the VK steering cloumn, there's a knuckle connector holding it to the rack, take the bolt out so its completly free. Then remove column cover, and wires etc. Then there's two bolts up near the dash, then you can lower it down a bit. And up near the brake peddle their is one more, you will need a uni joint on your wrench to get to it, its a prick to get to, but once thats removed you should be able to slide it out.
