c3 transmission

please can anybody help me, i have a transmission on my 308 5.0ltr, all i can make out is that it says c3!
could anybody please tell me what transmission this is, its also an auto.

it's either a TH350 or a Trimatic, i'd lean towards the TH though.

yer, thnkx, im looking at selling it and im trying to find out how much it is worth befor it hits ebay!

yer, i no a c4 and a c5 are ford trannys, just waznt sure if it waz or not,
jd, theirs a conversion plate on it!

does anyone know how much they will be worth??

I know jack**** about ford trannies, but i do know the toploader is a common conversion, if thats what you have i would imagine you would be looking at 500+ for the conversion kit with tranny.

a C3 is an AUTOMATIC.... top loader is a 4spd MANUAL.

and toploaders are worth more than $500 but he doesnt have one so it dosent matter
