I know my hubbie can fix this problem but he is currently working away, lucky him, he's got the VT Acclaim so he doesn't have to worry bout problems even tho it's spose to be my car but for long distance travel you could understand the fuel economy is far better but anyway, for the past 2 weeks I've been havin problems starting the car, I've had to push the barrell in really hard to get the car to start. Now no matter how much strength I give it I can't get it to turn on. I've dropped the steering column and I can see the bar that goes down into that white box, it's like something is jamming the barrell. Hubbie reckins the white box is the problem, could the barrell just be rooted? I've tried turning the steering wheel to see if that helps but no, I've sprayed WD40 into everything that moves and still no luck. If I push the bar with a screw driver I can get all the dash lights to work but I just can't get the car to start, can someone help me cuz me hubbie can't come home til Friday night and I need the car running for work? I've also tried bridging the 2 connections on the starter motor and there is spark so I know it's not electrical.![]()
