I am using some King Springs and KYB shocks I had in the shed in the old VK (6cyl sedan) and now have a rear EBH (eye brow height - axle centre to guard) of 340mm in the rear. I am unsure what EBH I should be aiming for in the front?
King Springs claim there are 3 types of spring to get me different EBH heights in the front, 370mm, 355-360mm and 345mm.
Does anyone have any experiences?
One would expect used springs to be a tad shorter than new due to sag so i would say aim for the ones that give you 345mm and get new insulators for the rear which should even it up.
i forgot about that. if you measure the difference between front and rear by running a straight edge across the arches, best place would be the top of the recess for the door molds and same place behind your bumper ends, then ad the difference to 345 it should give you the right ebh for the front to match the rear, i think??.
