I've got a 78 VB SL/E and i thought i had one of the very 1st commodores very made,turns out i was 5000 odd off(build number is 5049)

The early VB's started in Sep 78 - released Oct 78 and with only 95,000 odd made it's inside the first 10%

What was the build month/serial number? - the last 6 numbers on the compliance. The full Body number should be like this AVB005049
