Default Is there more than one petrol filter on a VK?

I have been having a few problems with fuel issues and have put in a reco carby and a petrol filter on the left hand side under the bonnet (as you face the car - ie not near the battery side). A few have talked of some other petrol filter which I can't find. Is there one or two petrol filters on a VK?

I only thought their was one, cant say ive seen a second one.
Did you put the 90 degree one on, as i got a atraight one and didnt realise to i got out on the farm. So i put it on and the car ran lik ****, works so much better with the 90degree filter, dont ask me how lol just does.
Also did you tune the carby when you put it on?

Thanks for speedy replies. Yes tuned the carby. Yes its the one you are talking about. Just that the car will run and then start losing power, gain it again and lose it again - I think as per the first suggestion it may be the fuel pump. I'll do a test as per the manual to see if it is pumping as per specs. Thanks again for clarifying that there is just on petrol filter. Cheers

Not sure mate, The straight one, fits in the slot, except the fuel lines dont reach it lol, i had to cable tie mine to stop it flapping around, until i got into town and got the proper one. I think the straight one might be foe an EFI or even a V8 as it was listed in repco's computer as a VK one.

The EFI 202 uses a bigger filter under the back of the car, maybe that's the one other people are talking about. But u have a carby so it shouldn't be there, you'll just have the one which u already know about.
