Default vh radio pos and neg wires

hi guys, another stupid question... i just wanted to know where i can plug in my posetive and neg wires for my radio on my vh commodore? They used to be plugged in to the first big connector that comes out from just behind the steering wheel (or at least the pos did) , and that was just wedged in alongside another cord. Any ideas where i can plug these wires to get the piece of junk workin>? Driving in silence sucks
cheers for all help!

I can't remember the colours off my head, but if you've got a multi meter or test light i can give you a few steps that will help you pick them out.

Should be pink for +, black for -, and yellow for constant 12v.

i just we run new ones so you have no other drains or chance of shorting some thing. connect neg to the body or battery and pos to the battery then run the remote off the cig lighter
