Default vh heater tap were is it?

hi im looking for my heater tap as i tryed flushing my heater because it's not working so any how i fush it and only a little trickle comes out once the coolants cleaned out the water was clear so i was wonder maybe my heater tap is not open i have a sle with air con but apperantly the air con is after market like installed a the dealer after production so the aircon is not connected to the heater im also open to suggestions thanks very much

It maybe that there isnt a heater tap, im not familiar with the vh in this regard, but I can tell you that the holdens of the late 70s only had heater taps if they had fact a/c. the water was always circulating through the heater. If there is a tap fitted, good sense would have it fitted in one of the hoses under the bonnet.....so that when it leaks......the mess isnt inside the car........not always adhered to if the tap was cable operated......but for vac operated taps.....under the bonnet is easy.

yeah found that out im trying to find out now why my sle's water flow is so cut off to the heater flow it's like a trickle and it's clean so i don't know theres no block because the water coming out would be dirty

Perhaps, but wouldnt rule out a blockage.
If you try and flush the core, be very carful if using a garden hose. The pressure can get up to 100psi+ with mains water. Your 25year old heater core can puff out like a goldfish at ~ 30 psi

yeah i just had enough coming out so it filled the garden hose it was just flowing out there wasn't much pressure but yeah i dono what wrong with it
