    Default 202 engine mods

hey guys i just aquired a vk commodore, its only got 119000 on the clock, it has the 202 black motor and i was just wondering if i could run past my idea of what i want 2 do 2 the engine.

pretty well i want to make a killer 202 what i was thinking of doing is
    - a stroker kit
    - triple carbs
    - yella terra head (possibly extra machining wen i get it)
    - engine block (bored out, blueprinted, decked, honed)

thats pretty well a basic list i can go into direct detail.
my vk already has a sports exhaust, low king springs, new struts, adj panhard bar, 18's (yeow).

that pretty much the formula im going for with the engine, does anyone have any other ideas? i want the most power i can get but keep the car naturally aspirated

    cheers

Yep, 173's had a CAI setup on them. The snout on the air filter assembly was bigger, and a pipe went from that, down along the chassis rail, under the battery tray and opened up under the headlight next to the radiator.

    No probs mate.

I might even dig it out within the next few days and try and sell it. Can't remember how good mine was tho. Not gonna use it coz it will make my engine bay look messy

Got heaps of stuff to get rid of within the next few weeks....we've got enuf early Commodore stuff to open up a shop

yeah mate, your on the right track with what you have planned...
re-mapping (or is it graphing?) your ignition will help get it moving when your done with the motor.
id sugest roller rockers too of you are going to go all out on it.
get some straight cuts for it too.... they sound cool. (some people reallllly dont like them at all though)
just be careful tuning the tripple carbs.... they are a pain to tune if you havent had much to do with them before..
