royal edition vc commodore?
hey all
just found this vc for sale on ebay.states it is a royal edition? just out of does anyone know what a royal edition is? had a quick search on google but found no info

Hmmm strange indeed. The Royal name is used for Export Holdens like in the SLE format or Caprice. Could have been a car made for NZ export but never sent anywhere.

Holden released them when the Queen visted.4cyl mostly autos,but there was a few manuals.NSW cars had personal plates starting with ER.All had royal blue metalic paint with gold stripe.

Was a limited edition run for the Queens Visit (not Queen, THE Queen...)
All are Auto Starfire 4s, yay!

ok thats interesting stuff never herd of em.that one for sale on ebay was a 4banger manual royal blue in colour so seems to add up..does anyone know how many were made?

The reason for that is because there a 4cyl commodore.....
