The GU4 is the 3.08:1 ratio diff, which all our VH's have had, and they were a Salisbury 8 bolt.

The GU5 is 3.23:1 and is a Borg Warner diff.

Are u sure the GU4 is a v8 diff.....as I know for sure the Salisbury 8 bolts 3.08:1 are GU4, and they are only in the 6's and 253's....Are the 10 bolts a GU4 as well?

Yes, GU4 is for both 8 bolt and 10 bolt diffs, its the RPO for 3.08:1 diff ratio.
