Hi all,
Are you ready for todays dumb question...
I have to have the EGR valve hooked up on the 308 to pass an engineers inspection.... but dont quite know what, why, how, where it is ?
I am assuming that the 308 intake manifold with egr has some kind of hose to the carby ?
a pic or 2 would be great
cheers

The EGR Valve is (Exhaust Gas recycling Valve) a connection between the Exhaust and the inlet manifold. (Simple explanation) Talk to your Mechanic. If you have extractors fitted to the motor, check to see if there is a blanked off port. Some extractors are made without this feature. You may need to get new extractors, with the port, or at least refit the original v8 exhaust and valve to keep the engineer happy.
No it's not NOS it's LPG
