6 cylinder/V8 Trimatics.

Hey, i'm new to the commodore thing, got a VH SLE about 2 months ago because my other project wasn't on the road.
Anyway, the trimatic is rooted.
Just wondering the differences between the 6 cylinder and V8 trimatics?
Is it as easy as changing the bellhousing to get a V8 trimatic hooked up to the old 3.3 or are the input shafts/output shafts differenet etc etc. Aprpeciate any info. Cheers.

Inputs shafts are different lengths.
