speedo info needed

my speedo in my vb is out of a vh the speedp wprks fine but the part that tells u how far the cars gone isnt workin could some1 tell me if this would b a problem in getting the car blue slipped or not?

Not sure about in NSW, but in VIC the Odometer MUST BE WORKING, CORRECTLY.

The trip meter does not matter. Depends which one isnt working, but generally they both dont work.
