I was just wondering if there is anyone on this forum that has an LS powered VB-VK commodore.
Im just starting to build mine now, and just wanted to know how people have gone with the conversion.
Thanks
i'd be keen to follow your conversion. as im am looking to do a v6 conversin but maybe a ls1/2 is the way to go in my vk......
i thought that a while ago...but would an ls1/2 fit in a VK?
i didn't think it would...

if they can fit a v6 in a mighty boy and a 302 in a corolla then i recon u could
Looking at doing this to, Gen3 + 6 speed manual.
Its going to be mine and a mates project, to make a hillclimb car lol.
It will physically fit, were not sure who to use for the conversion, probly just go with CRS, but as we arnt registering it we wont run into as many problems.
Ill post here with what I learn along the way.
I'm planning on doing this to my other SL/E, using the L98 V8, 6 speed and see about using a VY/VZ One tonner/crewman live axle diff as well.
It does cost a fair whack of coin to get the kit to fit the LS series donks into the VB-VLs. I think something in the $2000 region.

A lucky owner of 2 SL/E Commodores, a rare VB SL/E and a 2 tone VC SL/E. Just need a VH SL/E and have the set!
