hey guys. i got myself a vk berlina with the 3.3lt injected 202 and trimatic. this is gonna be a project of mine and the first thing i wanna do is drop in a new donk. so far my options are drop in a 308 with auto or manual, v6 conversion, or injected v8. im kinda leaning towards the 3.8 lt v6 cause i already have a whole VN donar car and a T5 manual kit to suit. should i go this way, get a charger on top, and get it engineered. what sorta times and power would a 3.8 lt manual supercharged in a vk do? i'm gonna put in a vn diff with a lsd centre as well
A V6 conversion would be cheap as u already have a donor car......but if it was my choice, chuck a V8 in it.....either EFI or carby.....they sound waaay better then any V6.

that is a good point too.....would the v8 k frame and all that bolt str8 into the vk? along with the front brakes?
As far as I know it does.

if you've already got the donor car go V6, it has everything you need to do the conversion. the V6's in the early girls go really well even without supercharging
yea think that will be the way i go. i reckon it'd be awesome fun with the 5 speed behind it. will a vn diff bolt right into the vk? i have heard it does just wanna make sure. cause im close to buying one lol
