if a VN diff will bolt into a VB-VL just a touch wider, and the IRS from a VQ statesman will bolt into a VN, then is it possible to retrofit IRS into a VK? not that i'd be bothered lol but im curious, and if so has anyone done it?
fair enough youd be the only person in a vk with rear camber adjustment haha i still haven't sorted out what diff i wanna put into my vk i want discs on the back ill probly just go a vl diff
the very first commodore to have IRS was infact a brock commodore i believe.
it's not possible to convert a live axle car to IRS without cuttingout and welding in the entire rear section of a IRS car. not a simple bolt in operation

oh lol :P yeh cbf i thinkthanx thats quelled my curiousity
i saw a couple of people advertising their IRS from various commodores saying theyll fit in a vn, thats what sparked it lol
With a bit of "cutting and shutting", i can fit. If you have the big bucks, anything is possible.
