my fuse for the dash lights blows but also my reverse lights go fuse blows instantly when changing any ideas? also coming home 2nite when i put my foot on the brake my cd play would turn off any1 know wats going on there?

You have bad earths and shorts basicaly.

Run an earth wire for your Cd player seperate to the cars earth wiring. to the battery is best but a clean metal part of the body will do providing the earth to the engine is good.

As for the reverse lights. Do you have a tow ball and plug fitted, these are genraly the culprit when it comes to fauls pull the plug apart and make sure all the wires are terminated properly in the plug. failing that check the light plugs and terminals and make sure they are all good.

DO NOT USE A BIGGER FUSE this will burn the insulation and create more problems.

If you are handy with a test light and/or multimeter it is a process of elimination.

sorry bout the late reply mate the car did have tow bar nd plug but have been removed the stero is well earthed i found the problem it was only happening when the batter was running down thanks to the a;ternator still try to figure out bout the fuse that keeps blowing tho
