You have probably dropped the metal wire that opens the door...You will need to take off the door trim and put it back on, happened in my mums VL

bingo, yea its just like a little hook. I could get into my old VB by pulling out the lock and pushing on the little hook. 'POP' the door will open.

u will see straight away once u get in there.

If it is that your lucky...Cause there are some cases where the wires comes of the lock...so you can't unlock the door at all...So you can't actually take off the door trip on newer cars because there are screws...

But yeah if you need help with taking off the door trim there is a hot-to on it, if its the same as VLs all you do it carefully pull it off, just has push in button things, no screws

1st you want to clip off the inside handle surround and lock surround (if you have slide locks, if you have screw ones unscrew the lock knob), then remove the inside mirror cover bit, then with a flathead screw driver slide it under the window winder and push the flat clip out (it will usually go flying), then you can pop off the winder. Unscrew the armrest and the whole doortrim will be free, you need to pop all the clips out around the bottom and side edges (very carefully cause they break) then lift the door trim from the top. Installation is a reversal of removal

^^ just incase you never had one apart hehe
