Harmonic balancer 308

Hey,

Does anyone know how to get the harmonic balancer off a 308 black motor?? I'v been told that there is'nt an off the shelf puller for the 308 like there is for the 3.8 V6's?

anyone done this before?

any sort of puller should be able to get it off. Cant remember for sure but you can use the threaded holes on it and use a steering wheel type puller

Yeah, Supercheap Auto or Repco should have one (It looks like a hand with free fingers where you put the bolts through), and yes there are threaded holes that you can use to pull it off.
