Ok here is my baby,
its 90% through a transformation from a 202 to an EFI 5L. As luck would have it i broke my hand and I have to sit and wait till I can work on it again

It has a VS 185i engine donated from a clubsport with a T5 manual, soon to have borgwarner LSD.
Previously it had a Blueprinted EFI 202 getting 7.5sec 0-100km/hr, never got around to a quarter mile time.

M21 3.08 LSD FE2 JM8 factory sunroof factory alloys
pwr windows and central locking and power mirrors...

this is my car has been nothing but a handfull since ive had her but im slowly working away all the problems and then i might think of some mods but need the cash 1st shes a 202 nothing flash but goes pretty well (now anyways)

this vk was a beast, yella terra head, acl pistons, chemically cleaned block, 350 holley n a few other engine mods. Until one stormy nite wen i was driving home as a tree falls in front of me the engine survived but the car didnt sad story but the engine lives on.

im only new to this site but there are a lot of good things to learn from and you guys all do a great job. i am currently getting a 5L conversion done with the turbo 700. hoping to make my car nicer by the day but lack of funds makes this seem impossible. keep up the good work peoples

Thanks commodorechick It hasnt looked that nice in a while I hope to get it back on the road shortly Im going to hae a good go at it this long weekend.

I like the colour of your car, its a nice different. Just wondering who picked the colour?? my money is on you.

Slayer: My boyfriend is a spray painter and the colour is a custom one that his work made up, its purple with purple pearl mixed in it (SEXY) so yeah it's probably not one that you can go out and buy, but i imagine you could get something similar made up for you

I guess it would stand out, I found when I was on my P plates I used to get a fair amount of unwanted/undeserving attention but as soon as I was off my P plates they never bothered me.

I thought about a colour change for my car or even just apearl on the silver but paint wise my car is easy to touch up. When we first resprayed my car I chose a tinter that was a perfect match so as theres no mixing required I can paint a door and it doesnt look like its been touched.

I am nearly up for a respray this time though, I have 2 bumperbars and spoilers, rear quarter, roof, bonnet and a front guard to paint so I will have my work cut out for me.

Yeah speaking of unwanted attention i got pulled over by the police this arvo
They were doing a 'random licence check'... god if they were gonna lie they could have at least thought of a better excuse, they just wanted to give me the shits, they spend like ages just looking at my car and checking my licence, and they gave me the third degree about why it's part registered with my dad... WHICH IS NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS
I spose i should get used to getting pulled over, having a loud-coloured car, but they didnt have to be such pricks about it

Normally they breath test, they cant pull a car over without a reason. There was a case in sydney where they saw a sus looking car driving along and pulled it over to check out the occupants only to discover drugs inside after that they were made to do a breath test 1st as a purpose for pulling the driver over.
So what if his name is on the rego, he could be part owner its none of their business. They might just see a chick driving a commodore and think hey lets pull her over

This is my new thrash car. Bought it mainly to get to work, but will also come in handy for a tow car, as the VP seems to be off the road more than on!



Its a Berlina wagon, with all power options (windows, mirrors, cent locking, cruise), now i just need to get a digi dash, and i'm set.

Also, its a 308, and just been resprayed burgundy, with a slight pearl in it.
Picked it up for 1800. And yes, thats a genuine HDT grill!
