run all new wiring its a pain but if your Vh has wiring like mine it will need replacing.
To my knowlege all you need is a power wire an earth and an accesory wire then run all your speaker wires to your speakers.
um im sure theres a faq on this site somewhere try a search for it

As above its pretty wasy to work out, you will need a multimeter or a test light at the least. If you dont have one, go buy one you can get a multi meter for 10 bux.

I always run a new earth, its just got to be a wire running to the metal part of the car.
You need a constant 12volts, and accesory 12 volts.
So with the car off, put the negative leads (of multimeter) on bare metal of the car, and fiddle with the other wire using the positive until you find out which one gives you 12 volts or close to.
Then turn the ignition to accessories or on which ever, and find the one that gives you 12 volts when the ignition is on.
Just run new speaker wire, its alot easier, and high chance your existing stuff is past its time.
