in a VK commodore are the struts the same in the v8 n 6cyl in terms of spring stiffness and shock strenght?
and what about the rear any difference?

v8s are generally thicker springed , rip out the suspension of a vp and chuck that in

I've only just had mine done in the VK....from memory, the V8's had an extra coil compared to the 6 cyl. Backs were exactly the same.

Not too sure about coil thickness/strength though, my thoughts are the coils are similar strength, just the fronts off a V8 had an extra coil.

front are heavier duty cause of the extra weight from the bigger motor rear are the same from my experience
