    Talking boss kit

    Hey just got myself a new sports wheel for my VH and looking at boss kits.
    does any one know if a VL or VK boss kit will fit a VH commodore. cheers

    thanks i've been told that vl's are different to vh's but i'll give it a go.

    Nah I'm pretty sure they're the same.....maybe not then. Maybe give repco or an auto parts store a ring, and ask them to look in their book, coz the part numbers should say from VB-VL or sumfin.

    Come to think of it, I remember having a steering wheel on my old VH a few years ago that was off a VL.

    hey i finally got a boss kit and i cant seem to get it to go on properly got any tips?

    Im not sure what boss it is, I got it off a mate he swears it will fit.
    Its half way on but wont go all the way and the steering is tight.
    could the shaft need to be pulled out a bit I used a steering wheel puller to get the old 1 off???

    Have u tried putting the nut back onto the steering column and doing it up? This can pull it all together.

    Yeah i've done that. It's on as tight as i can get it but the boss is not sitting all the way down properly.
    What else could I do I'm outta ideas??.

    Yeah not to sure, can't really help unless I was there to have a suss. Obviously something is causing it not to go on properly, you'll just have to try and find the problem and fix it.

    Maybe it's not the right boss kit?

    Repco have got a deal on at the moment where u get a wheel and boss kit for about $80-$90.
