vh boot moulding

hey does anyone know the correct method in removing the chrome boot moulding off an sl/e..........

yeahh i think so.. theres a little plastic plug in either end of the crome strip, pull one of those out and slide it off, like pop the boot up, and just pull the crome strip towards the side of the car, probly be a bit stiff, mine was... and the little plastic lugs just pull out with pliers of a flat blade..

thanks for that yeh i noticed the little black end bits come out, ill just soak it in dishwashing liquid and pull it off......

those plastic clips do ya know if u can still get them???

ahh no trouble mate.. yeaaa, u can get em from rare spares, but theyre a bitch to match up, like, to find the ones you want, if you can get the old ones out, try use them, or maybe the bonnet ones as well, pretty sure theyre the same..
