ok i have a santard reco 3 year ago 308 blue motor in my vh trimatic i wanna do some big updates to it should i
a. get a new 304 out of a vs or vt with ecotec
b. get a 350 out of a vt
c. stroke my 308 to 355 when my engine gets tired
i wanna run gas on it so if i reco it ill get the gas cam and get it all built to run gas really well
because at the moment i get 300km to 60 litres and i wanna drop a manual in it but i don't want a supra box nor a aussie and i want a 5 spd
im leaning more towards stroking the 308 as it will be cheaper in the end and no engnieers
so any one got any ideas?
thanks
A) Your a douche BennyBut yes a VN-VT would be your best option using the 5speed aswell, but no ecotec V8's
B) The 350 was last released in the HQ from memory.... and we just wiped out Gen3 conversion when I told you the price haha.
C) Would give you more power, but wont help your fuel economy problems, and still alot of mucking around.
Gas is for girls, sheez.
5-speed gearbox on your tri-pattern motor, look into adapters to run a T5 if you dont want a Supra box. Also technically speaking if you ran a Supra or a T5 your SUPPOSE to have it engineered anyway lol.
Have I got any ideas? Sure but they all involve rubbing myself on your right leg.
ok im thinking im gonna gas it cam it custom exchaust see how we go from there
Ecotecs were V6's (3.8L)
Your best bet? the Injected 304, will go good and still be cheap on gas. dont have to go for roadworthy for that conversion either (IN SA MIND YOU NOT SURE ABOUT OTHER STATES)
