1985 vk sl, max power.
hey guys,
very soon i am going to buy my first car, and its going to be a VK. Yes im proud to say its a VK.
orite because im not really satisfied with the 86kw it produces, i just wanted to know what the max power in hp is, because under my bonnet thats what there is going to be none of that new kilo watt crap lol, yeah so like i was saying the max power in hp by putting extractors in, new exhaust system and get a better carby. I dont want to mess with the internals.
oh an i forget to mention its a black 6 cylinder Petrol Carburettor 3.3L (3298cc)

86 kilowatts = 115.3279 horsepower
extractors, exhaust and carb wont do too much for the old 202... pretty hard to get decent power out of them

do what i'm doing, convert it to a 3.8L V6 - More power from factory than the 5L's in the VK's did lol.
VK SL with VS Ecotec V6 and 5 speed Conversion (Ex 202 and 4 speed)
VB SL/E 253 auto - Written off by blind old bat who can't see stop signs.
VC SK 5L 4 speed manual, VL Turbo Diff - (another) blown aussie - intention is for Chev, 6 speed and ford 9 inch, and donate the VL Turbo diff to the VK.
ecotecvk how much would that cost????
i have picked up vn manual commodore for 500 twice the complete car running

i bought my VK 20 years ago! even then metric was old,
and all the cool people got EFI
