temp gauge on vc sl

hey guys one of my missus mates just brought a vc off her sisters boyfriend for $1500 u would think it would be mickey right? WRONG. HA HA
when i had a look at it i noticed
rust all around the back windscreen
surface bubbling paint on the boot
rust hole on the front left hand wheel arch
rocker cover leaking
rear main seal needs replacing
needs new exhaust
front passenger floor needs replacing rust
and i noticed today coz it was 41' that the needle is missing on the temp gauge in the cluster im sure it aint factorybut is this a common problem do i need to get a whole cluster or can i get a new gauge
and i had only seen it for a few minutes i gotta get some pics up of it
the best part is she just got a roadworthy for it WTFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!

Probably find you can get a cluster cheap enough from the wreckers. speedo probably wont work

I have 2 spare VC clusters. If it isn't too hot (which it prolly will be lol) I'll chuck them in my VB and see if they work......but yeah u can have one for the cost of postage....I can either send the whole cluster or just the gauge, posting the whole thing might be a few extra dollars but u may as well take it.....coz I'll prolly ditch it if u don't want it, and then u have some spares
