Rear window regulator

Hi all how do i get the wire back on the window reg, i took the glass out to fit new bailey channel rubbers and the wires come off, any tricks out there ? Thanks.

Yes what ever you do dont take them off

When I did mine I had a 12v battery and a spare PW motor plug and connected then reversed the wires to make the window go up and down while working on the door.

Iforget the exact process I looked for 1/2 hour through my manuals I have the info somewhere, but from memory. have the motor in the cable fully unwound position. Nextstart feeding it around the pullys. I used masking tape & pegs to hold the wire in place while i fed it around.

There should be painted marks on the cable to signify where the window should attach to the wires. Fix off the window and see what happens.
If the painted marks dont line up you may need to adjust the starting position of the wire from the pully on the motor so when you start feeding the wire around it ends in a different position.
