    Default Vh 3.3 turbo conversion

Hey guys i own a 83 vh sl with a 3.3 blue motor but i get off my p's soon and want to turbo the vh.
I was wonderin wat would be better turboing buy 202 blue motor or puttin in the injected vk motor but with the vk motor iv hurd there not real reliable.
And if i turbo it with a nice big front mount how much boost can i run without doin any internal work.
Im also thinkin about buildin a injected 5L turbo motor a bit down the track would tht be a good idea or just stick wit the turbo's 6
    cheers

Seriously ditch the 202 they have had their day back in the 1970s. For the money it will cost let alone getting it engineered you would be better doing an Injected V6 or 5L conversion on the car. Especially if your wanting an injected 8 in the future dont waste your money on a 202.

DO it yourself!!! When I started mine I didnt have much in the way of tools etc. I did have relatives & friends working in the automotive industry but I only gathered info and advise from them.
Just as long as you can enough space a double garage is the way to go if you can or a garage & carport.

Mechanically this you will need to outsource will prob be tailshaft modification. Buy or hire an engine crane. EnZed for some hose modifications. Exhaust shop for the exhaust.

Plenty of time for wiring up the engine. Plus a mate to help every now and again with things like lifting engine & box in etc.

Where abouts do you live? state & suburb good enough.

There is alot of bull$hit going around about engine conversions so do your research get your facts straight, plan it out and you wont have a problem.

    cheers
