VH 253 or 308 V8?

ive been thinking of buying a VH SLE and am wondering is it worthwhile getting a 5L over the 4.2? any thoughts?

if its just a cruiser mate id just have whatever engine the car with the best body comes with.

308 if you're keen on making power.
Otherwise its not a real worry.

so long as it sounds tuff and throaty. do they both sound the same with an exhaust?

If they are both VH SL/E I would pick the 308 for sure. More Torque (main thing) more power the 253 does sound different to a 308 slightly.
