G'day guys. Bought a VH wagon a few weeks ago and seeing as I still have some cash left over I want to tidy her up a little before bothering with lowering and all the other fun stuff. I did want to finish the interior before I moved onto the exterior but I know that the longer I leave it the worse it's going to get, so I may as well deal with it while it's still not a major issue.
I've tried to dig around underneath the rubber a little and I haven't found any bubbles yet, except for one fairly severe section smack bang in the middle on the bottom of the rear windscreen. Is this going to mean I can get away with a rust repair on the front as opposed to replacing panels at the front? I want to do it right the first time around, but at them same time I don't want to blow the cars value on getting it up to scratch.

I need to do my front cowel panel (panel under the windscreen that rusts), its to far spread for repair in my opinion, so Im looking at using either a donor car or a rare spares replacement panel. Not sure if I will put it in myself or pay a pro to do it.
I'd probably pay a pro, I've heard too many horror stories of people trying to get their windscreens out and breaking the bloody things. I've tried to be as hands on as I can so far with this car because I missed out on a lot with my last one due to the previous owner doing it all, but when it gets to the point that paying a pro to do it might end up being cheaper than doing it yourself and screwing it up I don't bother takiong the risks. Of course, someone more skilled than me could probably manage it.
