VK door checkstraps

Hey
does anyone know where i could purchase new door checkstraps for a VK sedan
Holden have told me they are no longer available
Auto 1 have said they are not available aftermarket

I rekon ur best bet would be to go to a wrecking yard and hunt down a good 2nd hand set.

Apparently VN-VP ones are still available from Holdens and are about $50 each (I think )......dunno if they'd fit tho. Haven't looked at both sets to look for any differences, but being 2 totally different cars I don't like the chances.

Maybe a rare spares agent, I bought a couple of sets for my VK when i found out Holden were making them obsolete, just incase Rare spares didnt sell them.

Otherwise try wreaking yards, before fitting them to your car give them a really good clean and lube them so they will last longer.
