    Question how to put in rear power windows? i have everything, do i need a lot of patience?

    hi guys i just need a little help of putting vl calais rear power windows in i have got them out of wreck i picked up, the front have been done, but the drivers side died, now i have gone back to manual i have a vb sl and slowly converting interior to vl calais series 11, i have had no skins on my doors for almost 2 years please help.....

    It just takes load of time to figure it out the first time, ont he cables you will see some painted marks that like up witht he window bolts keep readjusting the wires untill you get the painted marks level and then you will be sweet.

    When I did my windows I had a spare nearly flat 12v battery there that I connected directly tot he window motor so i could test the workings of it. The idea of a flat battery the motor will go slow and if there is a problem you have plenty of time to stop before something gets bent or broken

    thanks il give it a go on the weekend, finger's crossed i put in the slide locks in and it took a day for all doors, when windows are done im looking to put keyless entry on.

    thank u vkberlina its a good inside look of what i have to do thanks, i have had a look, i have the motor in the door i just dont know where/how to attatch the motor to the door there is no holes im sure i have the right motor on this side. there should be holes (right) i really cant even tell on the motor where abouts it should be. so im kinda stuck with 1 window down, should i put the winder kind back in?
