    Default starter motors!!!!!

    Hey guys i still dont understand why in the wiring plan for vh v8s it says theres suppose to be 3 connections to the starter the normal battery cable the violet ignition wire and it says theres suppose to be a red and black fusible wire going to the starter also wats the go guys i really need help to get my baby started thanks

    na man haven't checked the plugs yet why do you think there may be something unplugged

    ive got a vh v8 manuale in front of me and there is three wires i dont thinkl it needs this wire ill have a look at mine and see if its got that wire going to it

    see its weird i've got a brand new fully charged v8 battery but when you turn the key its like its dead this has really got my head spining get back to me as soon as people can thanks

    just had a look at mine the red wire goes to the positive aswell as the positive lead and also saw on mine there is a fusible link up at the positive terminal

    try checking that fuseble link as in the manual it says fusible link and thats the only one i can see

    wat the red wire go's to the starter or or the battery is the fusible link a red wire that changes to black

    yea the red wire is down nere the starter it gose to the positive on the starter yes black to red on the battery terminal

    should be a round crimp on terminal that goes on the positive battery pole of the starter with the main fat power wire if you dont have one dangling round not connected it can sometimes be feed from the battery positive instead of the starter.sometimes it is attached to the starter with a spade terminal like the crank wire as well.this will supply the ignition switch or fuse box with power
    I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong
    tabbacco is still my favorite vegetable

    well where does the other red wire come from cause i only got 2 of the wires connected at the moment they are the fat positive and the violet ignition wire if i knew where to look i might be able to get something happening thanks man

    mine i think goes to the positive battery not sure as its rapd in the loom delcowizzid might know hes a electrics man by the looks of it

    if you cant see any unconnected wire hanging somewhere near the starter and didnt take one off when you removed the old starter it will be feed from the battery positive terminal instead.

    yes like delco said run a wire to the positive on starterto the positive on the battery

    it feeds all the 12 volt power to ignition and fuses etc
    I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong

    and if that dosnt work try it on the other conection on the starter there should be a spare spade terminal
