Well I searched the forum but I can't seem to find what I need to know. I have a vp v8 lsd diff that I originally bought to put under my vk. However I have since bought a vk v8 salisbury lsd disc brake diff. So I am going to sell the vp diff, but before I do, will the hand brake cable on the vp diff fit onto the old salisbury? Or will the existing drum hand brake cable in the car fit onto the disc brake diff?
Also, I have heard that to convert from drum to disc you just have to change the proportioning valve in the master cylinder. Is this true, or do I need a new master cylinder?
Cheers
The VP diff cable won't fit, is way to long. The drum brake cable won't fit either. You need a VB-VK disc hand brake cable

A lucky owner of 2 SL/E Commodores, a rare VB SL/E and a 2 tone VC SL/E. Just need a VH SL/E and have the set!
Another thing I was wondering, will the brake calipers on the borg warner diff fit onto the salisbury diff?
