    Default lpg tuning

    iv got a technocarb and european converter. iv changed the points dizzy to electronic n now its running like shit. wots the best way to tune it. it has 2 screws on the converter, 1 is for idle n 1 sensitivity. which is which n wots the best way to tune

    Probably not what you want to hear but my recommendation is take it to a gas fitter that knows about technocarbs and get it dialed in.

    what is the car doing? spluttering at idle? running lean? lower power? key things to pin pointing where its gone wrong. Hows ur timing?

    if it ran fine before you changed is the ignition system then it cant be the gas carb set up. my money is on timing and or possibly running the wrong coil. did you get a coil suitable for electronic ignition? most points ignitions run a balast resistor to stop the points frying so quickly from arcing. look at your coil.... will give similar symptons to a stuffed carb
