The time has come and im thinking about the turbo optioin.
I thinking of getting it done when im on holidays and
wanted to know if anyone out there would recomend anybody around the Brisbane area.
I dont really know much about turbos, so some help would be appreciated.
Not after a small one, but on the other hand dont want a big one with massive lag.

^^^ can you say $$$$$$$'s :D

you should do some more research on turbo's then, cause that'd be a LOT of work for a proper turbo setup, as opposed to going supercharged

I thought about the superchared option, but ive always wanted a turbo with a blow off valve.
I've been doing some research and they seem to be around the $8-$10k mark.

Just for comparison's sake, see if you can tee up a drive in a turboed car and a s/charged car (if you haven't already). They make their power very differently and you may find that one type of FI doesn't suit your driving style or you just may not like it.
As already stated above, there's a lot more to the installation of a turbo over a blower and is a bit of mucking around to put it back to stock if you decide/require to sell the car down the track. A blower is a straight unbolt. Also depending on what mods you have to your car now, you may have to change parts of your exhaust to suit a turbo.
Check with your insurance company regarding going FI as some won't want to know you, others will ramp up your premium.
Just a few things to think about.

UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear.
HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall.
TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you

LOL havent heard a description like that b4,, but how far u take the wall with u would be Enertia....

id say do one or the other, because if u go cam and all that first, then decide to go turbo later, the cam needs to be changed to a custom grind and the cai will be useless.
id say 427 stroker combo and cam it.
oh lordy, think i just wet my pants.

anyway the turbo thing yeah the gentt bbr kits are about 10ish k and can pass emissions and noise testing and be 100% engineered and legal on the street with the right tune.
whereas many if not all s/cs cannot be.
and neither can cammed cars.

u can drive tt's under boost and use almost the same amt of fuel as a NA engine and have the same driveability as a std car, but if u want to, u can stomp it and unleash a whole can of whoop assss.

just a couple things to think about mate.

I've seen that GenTT kit but the main problem with that is
They are low mounted and that is to much of a risk for me having to drive on drirt roads and floodways.
Getting them moved to high mounts looks too much for me
Otherwise i would of loved to get the TT.
Thats why im looking around at a good size singal or something like a Harrop S/C

I Don't have to worry too much about engineer certificates and stuff like that up here in the N.T
especially when your out bush in a one street town.
