Hi there all, i do not have the cash for a cat back system at the moment, but in the mean time i was thinking about looking at these closely.

There is a sound file in there as well for the V8, would appreciate any thoughts you guys have on this for a short term solution.

Hey mate. Don't bother with them. Keep the 500 and save up for the whole thing. If you think about it, you'll only be buying new ones again when you get the cat back. Leave the rears alone for now. Depending what you want, that 500 could be up to half way there! Plus, a rear muffler change doesn't really make a V8 sound much better. Turns it tinny.

Agree with tinsnips. I know it's hard to hold out but i'd definately save your 500 for the whole system.

Keep your money man, i was quoted $840 for a fitted Mild Steel 3" Xforce Catback.

Will do just that mate, was thinking about using a lot of patience and saving for a VCM-P VE V8 2.5" Cat-back Exhaust LWB. Would suit me nicely i think.
