Does anyone know how to remove a manual 6spd gear knob out of a VE??

Ive bought a red hot leather gear knob and really want to put it in just wondering how to do so and get the old one out??

Really dont wanna go to holden and get them to do it, im sure they will charge me some excessive amount.. but if I cant do it myself I might have to :(

If anyone could give me some info that would be great! :)

You'll pull and pull and pull, you think the rotten thing is not going to give, and suddenly you'll smash yourself in the forehead when it lets go...:surprise: That was NOT fun! Then just put the new one in place and I just used the palm of my hand and knocked it down, and it popped into place, hasn't moved since.

I pulled and pulled, then pulled some more, didn't budge. Then I moved from the passengers seat to the driver seat, came off in one pull. Don't ask why.......

Be careful not to hit yourself in the head whilst pulling haha.
