VE service reminder reset

Does anyone know how to reset the service reminder on an 08 sv6

2007 VE SV6 Nitrate & 2011 VE SV6 Poison Ivy
Hold down only the up & down arrow buttons (below the mode button) of the trip computer.
Turn the ignition to ON
After about 3 seconds the service reading will appear
Release the up & down arrows
You'll hear a beep
Hold the up & down arrows again & it should reset
Turn the ignition off.
No more service warning
(that's off memory so hope it's accurate- but it is in the standard manual that comes with the car).

hope that works cause mine will be screaming at me soon even though it got serviced last week :)

That sounds like the procedure for the VZ's. I haven't had to do the VE service reset yet but from memory (car isn't at home at the moment) there are no up and down arrows on the VE to hold down as you suggest.

Doing a search for the answer for the VE seems to come up with this;

Hold trip button whilst turning ignition on. Release trip then press and hold enter for atleast 3 seconds.

Just tried the procedure on my WM Stato (hold trip button while turning ignition on. Release trip - press and hold enter at least 3 seconds.)
and it worked, excellent job.:lock:

Thanks, I googled how to reset service indicator on VE, got this thread, read thread, did as advised on my WM, voila, reset good
