This is probably not the best view of the new SIDI VE 3.6L V6 Engine but aye.....

Just went down to Holdens to have a look; no HSV's available to view yet but a few 6's.

Here's an image of the engine; yes it's a plastic cover:D

if it was me i would have pulled the cover off to have a look, i believe the 3.6 still uses the same as the previous port injected alloytec alloy inlet manifold, but the 3.0 uses the composite plastic manifold that looks like a burnt out jungle

Mate, I'll try to get some other shots; "crikey":whistling it was difficult enough to get the images as the sales person was quite an attractive lady:wax::yeah: I should of asked her to take it off but probably would of got slapped:thumbsup:

I did manage to get a few decent posters of the E2 Clubsport R8 and E2 GTS.

If there's any other requests, please list them as I'll go and get a few shots tomorrow.:coolpimp:

I'm guessing the 6.2 V8's look every bit the same as the 6.0 litre variety? i'm keen to see the comparisons with the XR8... should shut the ford boys up for a little while anyhow. They were quite impressed that the XR with 20kw more power, and a lot less torque was faster than the SS.... only .2 up to 100 kph, but they milked that for all it's worth! :p
what power figures are they giving to the new generation SS?
