Is it possible to fit a SSV instrument cluster and Headunit into a VE SS?
I have read a few threads but it has now lead me to being even more confused. Sorry my knowledge is
limited on the newer Holden range.

Anything is possible if you have the coin and the mindset to do it...the real question is, "is it worth it" NO!!!

It can be done, you just need to make sure that when you purchase the dash cluster that it is the same build model as your ss ie MY09.5 then you just need to get your local holden dealer to tech2 it in for you to make it work. The ssv headunit however is alot more difficult & requires reprogramming for it to work & obviously pulling your dash apart to remove & refit the new head unit.

If you have read all the threads then you would know it can be done.

I have put an SSV screen into a SV6 with heaps of extras.

Call no limit electronics and have a chat with them about it!

No I read some threads and I am now more confused as what needs to be done and how.
What extras?

Where are they based?
