Hi
is there going to be any changes in the ve ss 2011 ?
thanks
I thought the VF was due for release around the middle of this year. A bit of a Google search would probably answer your question.
I dont think the vf will be released in 2011
there will be a change to the ve this year mostlikely september i would say vf wont be until the model change this will be veII most likely
I thought VF was a few years off.... current VE still selling like hotcakes, until I saw this:

Factory shutting down mid year to make production changes, so we wont see the newer model till late 2010 or even early 2011.The new model is unlikely to present any spectacular changes, though a freshened interior and minor exterior tweaks are expected.
But it's not going to be a major update like the VE was... so no big deal in my opinion. Just a good oppurtunity to pick up a current model cheaper!
It's just a marketing tactic to ensure they romp in 'best selling car' (which they are currently leading anyway), and to 'freshen up' a model that hasnt had much done to it in a few years (other than engine drivetrain improvements).
Why change a winning formula.... and that's what Holden is thinking too. Update the VE platform, but dont completely change it because it still sells as is!
You watch, changes to the dash and center console (I reckon center speaker will finally be binned), different taillights and headlights for a sportier look, and maybe a new colour choice.
Cosmetic- but nothing worth selling a current VE for.

will be a ve2, nothing major outside just interior changes

They are full of it. Expect front and rear changes to be on par with vt into vx. expect interior changes on par with vt into vy. You might see some weight loss also, but that will be vf which should come with a fat blasting 100kg drop in weight. No quotes - no facts - just talk.

An insider tells me there are dash changes (round vents), Sat Nav (turn by turn) standard and some minor cosmetic changes on the exterior.
MY11 or VE Series II to receive 6.2lt V8. Most probably the L99 motor for Auto and LS3 for manual. All motors to be E85 compatible.
New dashboard design, with all VE's to receive touchscreens.
Supposed to be minor changes to the exterior i.e. headlights, bumpers etc
I can tell you that the 6.2 is happening.
July there is no V8 production at all. August they are only producing Auto's.
September they will start making Series 2 for a October release.
That's big news! If the Holden are receiving the 6.2lt whats HSV going to do?
7lt corvette engines ohhhhh yehhhhhh
Anyone think the new Gen V V8s will be in the VF?
from past knowledge its always around october when a series or model change happens and it would be interesting to see the 6.2 L99 and ls3 but if hsv still use the ls3 then the holden versions wont have as much power from factory but it wouldnt take much to bring it upto the hsv mark
